The light-weight Novitain Rack positions 50 sample collection tubes in such a way that it is exactly compatible with the Novitain Capcluster-50. The rack is compatible with automated pre-analytical systems and has an open well side design to ensure equal temperature for all tubes during cooled storage.
The Novitain Capcluster-50 offers an ideal and economic solution for the secure short-term sealing of 13mm diameter sample collection tubes in a 50-tube format. After capping 50 tubes in one turn, the retaining foil can be removed to leave each tube individually capped. Drawing upon proprietary Novitain technology, Novitain TPE Push Caps offer a rapid solution for capping 50 racked IVD tubes using the Novitain Manual Capper MC2.
Temporary storage of IVD-Tubes
In medical laboratories analytical tests are usually conducted on clinical specimens (e.g. blood or urine) in order to obtain information about the health of a patient as pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of a disease.
